
UT Austin offers many educational programs and services for people other than degree-seeking students. These programs include classroom instruction and instruction delivered to remote locations, both credit and non-credit. The level of instruction ranges from postgraduate to collegiate to secondary school. Certificates, credit towards baccalaureate degrees, and certain master's degrees as well as high school diplomas may be earned through these programs. Division of Continuing EducationThe Division of Continuing Education was established by the Board of Regents in 1909 "to increase the usefulness of the University to the people of Texas."
